Sam Cruz, Co Owner, Chief Marketer, and Business Development at Against The Grain LLC

Sam hails from a small town in southern Indiana, where unlike many of his peers, a fascination of craft beer brewed into a hobby spurned by an introduction to home-brewing by a friend. After moving to Louisville, KY on a whim, Sam landed a job with a local brewery. After many hours of hard work and a little luck, Sam was promoted through the organization to head brewer. Fast forward a couple years and he, along with partners Jerry Gnagy, Adam Watson and Andrew Ott, successfully launched Against The Grain Brewery.  ATG was catapulted to world renown quickly, distributing to every corner of the world and making some of the most innovative beers. Now, after a decade of ever changing business landscape, ATG is more than a boutique brewery. Sam and partners share ownership of a production brewery, the only remaining victorian inspired brewpub located in Louisville Slugger Field, a smaller more quaint brewpub in the historic Highlands neighborhood that specializes in sake production, a specialty sandwich shop, and two varying sized music venues.

Mike Novak, Co-Founder of Louder Than Digital

Mike is the Co-Founder of Louder Than Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency and brand amplification partner for Craftpeak. Mike brings over twenty years of technology and marketing experience to Louder and the craft beverage industry and has worked with e-commerce powerhouses such as Fanatics, Home Depot, Williams-Sonoma, Fabletics, Pottery Barn, & eBags.  Louder's mission is to leverage big brand e-commerce best practices to help amplify brands in emerging industries, like craft beverage, that are going through significant growth in direct-to-consumer and e-commerce channels.
